About the event
On October 11th, International Day of the Girl Child celebrates the potential, rights, voices, and futures of girls. Night of the Lost Girl calls us to remember and reach the girls whose voices and futures are too often threatened by exploitation, trafficking, violence, homelessness, abuse, and other vulnerabilities.
Girls Night Out Foundation is a Chicago-based anti-trafficking organization committed to reaching individuals impacted by exploitation through street outreach, crisis intervention, resource connection, survivor support, and pathways toward rescue, recovery, and restoration. Our work is grounded in the belief that no girl should become invisible because exploitation has pushed her to the margins of our communities.
On October 9, Girls Night Out Foundation commemorates Night of the Lost Girl by taking to the streets.
